The Patrol Frigates and Light Cruisers are firing everything they have at the blockade ships to lessen the firepower incoming and the damage taken as a result. Their main priority is to protect the transport, which is taking advantage of the hole the TTE has created as a dynamic entry point.
Even the freighters are joining in, using the last of their surplus processing power to disable primary systems of the mining ship through mechanical manipulation and cyberwarfare, although afterwards, they return to protecting the transport and try to reallocate memory.
