Favorite space songs

We've had a thread for overall music.
But here, I would like to dedicate a thread to space themed music.

And boy, do I have a great suggestion:

This song, just encapsulates the feeling
Of the brilliant freedoms that non-beacon based FTL can provide a society.
The utter brilliance of being un-tethered from conventional scifi ftl.
And just roaming the stars, in search of the next beautiful sight to behold.
But the dark undertones of the entire Elite soundtrack
Truly play into the fears that those freedoms unleash
And for the number of people willing to use those freedoms for good
Many more use them to spread evil and corruption.
But truly,
This song to me, is better than any with words.
But best of all?
That's one song of a 86 song soundtrack:

Anyway, my thoughts on that song aside
Any other songs that to you, encapsulate space in some way.
They don't have to be from a space game!
Or even about space,
But as long as you get that feeling from it!
Then feel free to post it here,
And explain what it makes you think (or not, its a free world XD)

Jenwuf I like listening to these, plus some other songs on my IPod, which I’m too lazy too list them all as there are over 250 songs on it. Yeah. I love these so gs because they just have that feel to it, ya know? Lend your ears and listen for a while, and you’ll understand why. If not, then I just sorry for ya, plus, you’re missing out on the fun!

Jenwuf I dont think i you can count this... i mean... its music from BSG... soundtrack... i love the soundtrack tho... atleast its good on scenes In Space like Battles ect. for example:

Ah yes! Subnautica! Brilliant soundtrack
Especially because half the game is remembering that sound is what
So without seeing something, you know what it is.
While somehow, the music never seemed to distract from the game.

Also, dive buddy 🙁 ill always remember you cute lil cuddle fish
But then my save broke due to lag from too many bases
And was never seen from again.
But red alert, and abandon ship, just make me want to overheat the engines in the Cyclops

The only other song from subnautica id say to add, is void.
Just as it somehow makes an otherwise empty, Ghost leviathan infested area
Seem much more interesting.

my favorite space song is Faster Than Light from stellaris. It just show us, with music, how will feel the first time we get faster than light, the feeling that all stars we see in the sky are suddenly within reach of the hand, the feeling as we get closer to space, and then the wonders that awaits us, in space.

the_guy545 Space Oddity is awesome! Maybe it's something old, but it's still of the best space themed songs!
(And I loved how Infinity ward used it in the Infinite Warfare trailer)

Jesus3747 Even though, imo, it was the worst COD game by far. Not sure about you, but really, you’re just blowing a bunch of people up. The COD Modern Warfare series was the best out of all of them.

the_guy545 Jenwuf I know, it was one of the worst games of the franchise, but the campaign was admirable, one of the best in the franchise (I have to admit that the Modern warfare series was the best, I hope, now that all the team returned from working in titanfall, continue with the history of Modern Warfare, as there are rumors that the new COD is the MW4)

One of my most favorite space song is song which is created by space, silence, that is something really very rare and when I have chance to hear it, I really enjoy it. 😃
