After I suit up, I head on to the UG shipyards. Multiple workers there see me, and start to chatter, as they too haven't seen me in a long, long, time. Soon, a large crowd starts following me. Wary of the large crowd forming behind me, I climb up on some crates, and face towards the crowd.
"Now, look. Hello, it's me, Secretary General. Many of you haven't seen me in weeks. Some of you may have forgotten me, but that's alright. Now, I've come to a realization. If we want to keep the peace around here, we need to be the peace."
A worker from the crowd yells, 'Oh yeah? Well, why didn't you do anything earlier?' The crowd looks at him, then me. I climb down from the crates, and slowly walk towards him. I put my prescription glasses in my pocket (because I wear glasses in real life), and stand in front of him.
"Well," I read his name badge. "Phil. As I said, I've come to a realization. Being a leader is hard work. You gotta micromanage everything, make sure the people look up to you, yadda, yadda, yadda. But did you ever realize that you wouldn't be here without me?"
Phil looks at me a little nervously. He replies 'Yeah but...'
"Ah, ah, ah, no buts. I like you, Phil. Here, and as a token of my gratitude for someone actually being brave enough to stand up to me, I promote you to head of engineering and ship production."
I pull out a copper badge with a pin. It has the 'UG' logo on it in black, with a hammer and wrench in a cross position behind it. It is lined in gold around the outlines. Phil looks in glee at me.
Phil: "I'm so sorry, Sir. Thank you, so much!"
Me: "Don't question it. I'm in a good mood, too." As I say that, I smile, and walk back to the crate. I put on my glasses.
"Now, let's kick some Thrawn ass, and save our home! Who's with me?"
All the workers around yell and cheer, nearly vibrating the whole shipyard.
"Alrighty then! I like your guys enthusiasm! Phil, get your guys to work."
Phil replies 'Yes, Sir!' and starts ordering away. I climb down the crate, and start walking towards my flagship, the Eye of Horus.
I pull out a com-device from my pocket. I dial some numbers, and call an old friend of mine.*
"Hello! Yes, it's me. Yeah, I'm back. I know you're retired, but we are rolling out...Yes, right now. Your ship? As good as ever. Thank you, Silverwind."
I hang up, and look at the Stinger IV, now in front of me, being worked on, and docked in a docking port. On my wrist, I open up my holo-watch, and press some buttons.
"Now, for a little 'inspiration.'"
Suddenly, the intercoms throughout the shipyard start playing a song, and many of the workers start singing along. What is the song, you may ask? Well, here's your answer:
Cue the UG montage!
