When the Railguns came out, I almost instantly loved this idea. just the idea of slicing a ship in half was awesome. After some toying with the weapon I came up with a effective 1v1 Railgun ship (called "The Devolver")
This ship was awesome in so many ways, but it was kinda small for me so I built what I called "The Remover of Life"
This beast has exactly 256 accelerators, and has no other weapons. It is a big ship that lags the game (could get bigger tho). so I want to see what others have built and how they stack against my ship (its not a competition, more a scientific test). Here are the Rules
Must have ONLY Railguns and no other weapons
Cant just be a stick without armor
Must be able to move
Railgun must exceed 99 Accelerators to count (otherwise its not very CRAZY!)
no more than 2 Railguns on your ship
also can't be a big armor square with a Railgun in the middle
There are three tests
-1 Maneuver test
Tests your ships manuverability by testing the time it takes to turn around 180 Degrees (in seconds)
-2 Damage
Pits your railgun against a block of armor, then measures the amount of blocks destroyed
-3 Durability
Tests your durability by seeing how long this AI Medium ship takes to kill your Gun (your Ai and gun/guns will be off and the battle will be conducted with battle helper)
Test 3 ship
Total Points of your ship based on this equasion: "0 - x + y2 + z" where X = Test 1 result, Y = Test 2 Result, and Z = Test 3 Result
