Railguns have just been added in the new update, they are one directional cannon ammo based weapons, and they seem to have taken the meta by storm. while they are one directional, they also have a penetration that goes through everything. this makes it pretty much one of the most effective weapons out there. but is it op? the weapon does have a instant destruction of the entire thing when one piece is destroyed, but unless you have a Railgun yourself, you would be hard pressed to even hit a good ship. because of their penetration of armor, they make Pushers (an effective multiplayer ship) obsolete. originally this was balanced by the non penetration of shields, but now if it deactivates a shield, it continues, which makes it almost unbeatable. this weapon seems to be the new Missile (before they were completely Nerfed)
