If it's still not showing then you have to unpack it by hand. First create a folder for the mod e.g. C:\Users\User_name\Documents\My Games\Cosmoteer\Mods\Mod_folder then unpack it into the folder. Keeping the same file and folder structure provided the mod.txt must be found right in that mod's folder you've created (meaning top level).
If it's still not showing and Cosmoteer give you an error then the mod is not compatible with the Cosmoteer version you got.
