ImTired (thats why there is an escort and most of our ships dont run on big crews so where good if a ship takes damage they will survive also the combat ships are there to protect the large ship not the small station where towing with the test devise in it)

ImTired (the station has no crew, the escorts have a crew of 12 each, and the large ship has a crew of 9. so only about 33 people are in danger

(I'd also point out you cannot bypass the FTL jammer: it does not prevent you from FTLing, it is literally just a wall of particles with a particular density such that when you hit it at lightspeed, the ship will be destroyed as hitting anything at FTL speeds is catastrophic)

The ships stay prow-on and fire flak-pattern with massed guns into closely positioned ships to inflict heavy damage on the frontal ones, fighters and bombers preparing to engage. The ominous green glow appearing in the process of some of the heavier classes of ship indicates some sort of prow lance is charging up to fire.
