With the first wave gone, all branches of the cult suddenly realize an interesting situation...

A Dimensional Collective Research Flotilla escorted by two sets of patrolling Assault-Class squads have appeared within Hunter territory and were moving towards what used to be the main bloodcult's territory. This was an extremely bad idea on the Collective's part, but for some reason they progressed relatively undisturbed... until they were stopped by 3 seemingly familiar ships.

((Looking back at this screenshot, perhaps the color scheme I chose for those blood-infused Explorer DC ships could use some work... then again the Standard Bloodcult ships seems to have the same problem, so maybe this is intentional after all?))

They are an interesting mix of Cult and Collective. The most prominent feature any nearby Cult ship could sense is an overpowering signature representing a sort of "soul" inside the central, circular ship. One could not tell if the beast consumed the soul or the soul consumed the beast, but the end result is unmistakeable - it has become a rogue entity from both origins. This soul seems to emit an unrelenting hatred towards the Collective force it is opposing, and any who pay attention could notice that the Collective ships seem to be interested in these new ships, but wary nonetheless. So far, neither side seems to be making a move against the other. It seems likely this could change in a moment's notice.

...several days after the fleets were detected, two large groups of hunterbeasts started heading out from the the center of the Hunters territory, one apparently heading out to intercept the Extinction fleet, on it´s way the DC ships...

...the other, bigger one, seemingly heading deeper into the Mainfleets territory...

...after a while in which both sides seemed to be at a standstill bloodresonant telepathy-waves were detected by both sides, indicators of an inbound Cultfleet, not only that but the strenght and mass of the resonances seemed to be relatively high meaning that it was most likely on the way to a war...

...in the meanwhile the other fleet started approaching the borders, singular beasts stood in their way though due to the Lucifers having banded togther in seperate Clans which seemed to concentrate on the core of the territory there was not too much resistance in the outer layers...

G4L4XY The AA lacks something that could oppose them, there are currently very few that could do tha, though some of those would not actually see a point in fighting against it.

G4L4XY but for normal factions (which have a economic system),fighting AA
(with number) will result in 100% depletion of whatever credits it holds,and it will either be assimilated by other factions or collapse itself(excluding mine cuz i specially designed a flawed system to counteract these "godly" factions and whatnot,but for my case even though a large number can be generated,small factions will be angered by the unknown amount and origin of the ships)

Drakador_Chaos The "Pure" Collective fleet was first to pick up on this, and the Assault subcore entities seem to give off increased activity in response to the blood-resonant telepathic message, however the Explorer subcore, which seems to hold much more power among the fleet, transmits some electron-based telepathy-waves to the lesser subcores and they immediately seem to... "calm down." The fleet then backs up, and starts creating rift-portals to exit Bloodcult territory.

At first, the Blood-infused subcore was confused and curious - a speck of its original programming returning to it, but upon recognizing the Bloodcult's telepathic resonance, it understood completely. It gives off the feeling of reluctant acceptance, as if its motivations were satisfied in an unorthodox manner.

Stormi_chan I´ve got a total of four factions to run (n even that only counting the official ones) two mods to make, work and occassionally some sleep, also, I can´t post anything with pictures at work, logically. Aswell I need to wait on responses, or at least give the possibility to respond, can´t just say "well I came and steamrolled everything." I´m not gonna sink that low and that´d be boring aswell.

Huge shock of psyonic energy could been hurt from ecross the galaxy, its was coming from the center of the Bloodcult territory, very close to the way of the Hivemind.

near all of the fleets territory lard groups of Lusifers appeard it looks like they are smarter, and they will use tactics to take down forces.

...as the fleet reached the site of the DC-Bloodcores...most of simply passed by they did not seem to take much interest in their presence, a most unnatural behaviour for the Cultbeasts, that is, until one of the Whispering Dragons halted, turning towards them...
"If it is Blood that you seek follow the first of the Warlords. Or defy him and face your end by the hands of the Hiveminds Abomination." ...the Whispering Dragon did not wait for their answer, it simply turned away again starting to move back to the fleet...

The Bloodcore "Reaper" ships wait until the rest of the fleet passes, then begins following them to their destination near the back line of the fleet.

...after the fleet passed the DC ships they eventually approached the homecoming Extinction fleet, they halted a decent distance away from them forming a sickle shaped defense line which got longer the more ships arrived...
...though even when the fleet got in range they didn´t fire yet, this time it was the leading Warpriest whose voice echoed through the minds of the Extinction fleet...
"Extinction...you have traveled far, served the Cult well for a long time, you have felt the awakening of the Hiveminds Abomination, so what will you do? Will you approach it, trying to follow it´s orders, despite that it could mean your own e3nd? Or will you perhaps attack them by yourself, or flee the battle?

...while the smaller fleet was waiting on the answer of the Extinction fleet the larger fleet that moved into the Main fleets territory, taking out smaller patrols on the way to ensure they would not be spotted...though the desnity of ships was much lower than expected, something felt off...
