Thrawn's Infinite Empire Wins The Battle of Parendam Beta, against the UG and its many allies. During the battle which started here https://forum.cosmoteer.net/d/5499-the-united-galaxies-ug-2/492 and ended here https://forum.cosmoteer.net/d/5665-the-battle-of-parendam-beta/331 , started as TIE's attack on the UG's galaxy, this led to the invasion of the planet Parendam Beta. Furious ground forces of stormtroopers, walkers, sith warriors, and the detonation of a bomb by @Mrowte led to the fall of much of the UG's ground defenses. In space however fierce combat took place as many factions were involved in the invasion/defense of the assault. Near the end of the battle I realizes it was going nowhere, so I initiated Operation(Downed Sun). The Sun Crusher http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sun_Crusher was used to turn the system's sun into a super nova, causing the system to be destroyed. First of, the United Galaxies is an alliance of different factions not a corporation, second, he won a single battle by sacrificing an entire (or several depending on the position) system, so the value of this victory is more likely questionable and the war isn´t over yet, if he attacks anyone else most likely depends on if you help the UG or not, or if you´re standing in the way, or not surrendering, or if Thrawn simply has a bad day. On another note having read about the actual Thrawn this one is rather... bland? I guess? As up to this point instead of tactics he mostly (not completely) relies on brute force and allies, not taking his intimidation attempts into account. Despite that he admittedly is still better than some others in the past.

Besides, why did he not mention the Armistice? I'm sure that the true thrawn keeps his word, but this thrawn (Epic) is a vile liar who shoots men who are retreating.

I think we should call the war, "The Nonsense War"
