Well luckily I'm halfway across the galaxy with Jamoke...but I feel pain for the brave soldiers, on all sides - even Thrawn's - left behind during the explosion. Let us hope they did not perish in vain.

Hate to admit it but I am actually having trouble running a battle with @Tson 's ships, mainly because I can't find any blueprints of them. That, and the one I did find (Tson - in the Thrawn's Infinite Empire thread) was not an actual ship blueprint, so I can't even make a size comparison. All I can really do is post screenshots of fleet formations.

Essentially, this is what it boils down to:

Whoever this "Prime" is seems to have calmed down a little bit.

"It may be that the divine entities of destruction may be overstepping their bounds, but there can be no excuse for delays. I'm donating a fraction of my power to Fortress Alpha and Gateway One to boost the time of arrival. You should have enough for one divine lightning discharge and a heat shield for all your forces to survive this supernova. Get to [Unintelligible] as soon as possible."

The Station and its surrounding forces suddenly emit a white glow. The Station's systems all are emitting higher than normal electrical signatures... of an unknown substance. It only seems to be channeled within the station, however - even the auras of the other ships in the Collective - and to some extent the Zurkonian - ships

With most of the occupying forces gone, Fortress Alpha passes through the battlefield at relative speeds. The supernova hits the fleet, but with the rift-based higher auras surrounding the fleet, most of the ships pass through with relatively low damage.

...Most. Assault-Class hulls are notably susceptible to heat, cryo, or basically most elemental damage and erosion, and especially for some of the smaller ships, some of them burned down and eventually exploded despite having a defensive aura imposed upon by a literal god. Fortress Alpha suffered a few minor scorches to the hull, but the damage was negligible.

Fortress Alpha eventually passes through the destroyed system and continues its course.

...several large Vessels enter the system in the area where this supernova is already raging, it is unknown what they are doing inside there, or who they belong to because the heavy interferences hide everything but their arrival and presence as their energy levels seem to stand out amongst the nova...

...several hours after energy signatures of the ships appeared they suddenly disappeared again, what they actually were, how they got in and even more curiously, out of there, was an unsolved miracle as the heavy interferences did not allow any scans or visual observing...

An ISA Light Frigate pulls out of FTL and launches a probe into the supernova, the small ship already close enough to the nova to be feeling the heat, it then moves into the nova, several hours later, it glides out, it's hull glowing a dull red as it's cooling system disperses the heat across the hull and out into space

a light 'beam' of sorts is fired into the supernova, and afterwards the ships dissappears into the inferno
