He turns towards Keyes and nods, while all around the hangar troops march in, and cover the exits. The customs officers themselves ready their weapons, but Richthofen seems completely calm, with a cold deadlyness in his eyes...

Richthofen nods, then waves the soldiers to arrest them. The men are clad in "Knacker" Power armor, meaning that they are safely protected inside of 5 tonnes of steel and are towering 5 meters high.,
"So, zhis can go very smoothly, or you are going to end up with a lot of broken bones. Ich dont care either way, but I figured you may."
Richthofen moves a finger, and the soldiers move forward, while others stay behind a few meters, aiming their HMGs at the group.
"Wir will probably only temporarily arrest you, while all of zhis is not very clear."

They arrive deep in GSR territory, at a fortress world. fortress worlds are planetwide bunker facilities with massive Flak cannons and are in general safe havens for the systems around. A channel is automatically opened to the ships, they are given orders to land at a large open loading and unloading area in the northern hemisphere.
"Land at zhese planetary coordinates: Lat: 54° W, Long: 73° N. You will be greeted by a negotiation team after landing.
meanwhile Richthofen had travelled to the fortress world in one of the fastest FTL-capable ships the GSR could muster and was waiting near said loading area for the remnant groups.*

The small group of ships land on the fortress world. A team of negotiators in formal dress come out of them with 2 lightly armed guards. The negotiators appear to be empathetic people. One speaks on comms.
"Uh, hello? This is Remnant negotiator Jacob Reeves. We're here to speak on the behalf of Buchanan and the Remnants."

five men start walking towards them, the outermost two of them are soldiers in the aforementioned "Knacker" armor, they carry heavy machineguns on a sling. The two in the middle seem to be officers of a lower to medium rank, and in the middle an officer comes towards you, being about 2.7 metres high, he is larger than most GSR soldiers, and he almost looks too big for the combat armor he is wearing underneath his officers coat. He keeps walking until right infront of Reeves, then stretches out his hand to greet him.
"Guten Tag. My name is Flottenkommandant Willhelm Schmidt, i will be your negotiatior for zhis matter."

The group is obviously terrified, but they barely manage to keep their composure. Reeves warily shakes Schmidt's hand.
"H-hello."

Reeves manages to calm down.
"Before we negotiate, I wanted to give a few opening remarks. Firs-"
Reeves in interrupted blasted on the ground as a pieced together New Legion dreadnought sends a volley of missiles down at the Remnant transports. Heavy laser fire rains down on the landing platform.
"How are they- wait a minute... the survivors! They've broken out! Get to cover!"

Willhelm holds his ear, screaming at the poor comms officer on the other side, about 5 seconds later one of the massive Flak cannons turns towards the dreadnaught.
"FEUER!"
As Willhelm lets his hand rush down, a massive BOOM is heard and the shockwave throws over one of the remnant transports, Reeves and his men are thrown over like matches in a storm, only Willhelm and the soldiers in "Knacker" Power armor are able to keep their stance.
A massive projectile flies at the speeds of almost FTL towards the ship, able to take down the biggest ships with ease, if this highly explosive shell hits, that thing will go down...

The projectile passes through the thought-impenetrable shields of the dreadnought, crippling it. It starts falling out of the sky. This is an emergency. One of the Remnant guards contacts the Empire.
"Whoever can hear this, this is Sergeant Emil Radcliffe. New Legion survivors have broken out of custody and have destroyed our transports. The dreadnought they had pieced together has been crippled, but is is now falling out of the sky. What I'm saying is... Emil sighs. we're as good as dead. Do not come for us. I repeat, DO NOT come for us. Long live the Remnant Empire."

As the ship begins falling down, Willhelm turns and starts running towards a bunker entry point, his guards directly behind, but then he turns around, and gestures the remnant negotiators to follow him. The ship will come rushing down, nothing can stop that, but at least they can survive underground... if they are fast enough...

Just after Wilhelm and his men make it in, a piece of shrapnel lands in front of the door. Reeves and his team pound on the shrapnel begging for help. The ship crashes. Reeves's vision goes white. That was the last thing he saw.
