AAH EFFORT
Now I think about it, it should really be the first thing I add when I get back home.
The 6" side gun has the closest thing to a interior so far.
And ill make sure to put some of the aforementioned effort into the interiors whenever I get to make them.
Although annoyingly, its not like ww2 naval guns had interiors below decks other than ammo and propellant stores, meaning ill have to think something up.

Torpedoes, now others have requested this... and really, its not that it's not possible, it would be relatively easy to make, but its just that I'm confused as to how to balance such a weapon.
Real torpedoes, whether from a plane or torpedo-destroyer, would be devastating if even one hit below the water line. Ie, the Bismarck's steering being knocked out by a wing of fairey swordfish biplanes equipped with them.
This means unless the torpedoes had some other function, id really have no reason to want to use them in a design.
I mean, if it is just a non-turning bigger missile launcher, why not just use two normal missile tubes?
Currently, there are reasons as to why one would use a turret instead of say, a star wars turbolaser (other than if you are making a ww2 ship replica). Cannons do area damage, and shred armour without needing crew, however take up lots of space. And side 6"'s offer armour at the expense of being larger than a normal vanilla cannon
Torpedoes, to me at least, would need to have another function to be worthy of the name torpedo, but it is on my to do list.
TODO LIST:
1:be away until Thursday (I cri)
2:MAKE BLODDY INTERIORS GIB, YOU LOW EFFORT NUB
3:Work on 'MURICA weapons?
4:Consider torpedoes function (immobilizing enemies temporarily?)
5:actually play the game
