UPDATE ON UG THINGS: I will probably play some UG assets, but not Silverwind. As for his whereabouts? Some Core-AI intervened. We're not sure if it was a rogue asset or an entity from the Collective themselves.
We know this because a lot of escape pods had warped in to the UG HQ... via Rift-portals. The Stinger-IV is gone, self-destructed to prevent the Imperium from getting its hands on it. Only remnants of the first UG fleet remain. The Silverwind impostor is lost to the cosmos. And the Dimensional Collective are still focused on something else, annoyingly evading any questions as to what the hell is going on.
However, I still feel like roleplaying minor characters in the UG. Patrol leaders, Escort captains, Council advisors, that sort of thing. It's just time-consuming to create detailed conversations between Silverwind and his crew, and I'm trying to avoid that mistake again by stepping the bar down a notch. Hopefully, people understand where I'm coming from.
