I know this has been done before, but I will try to make a proper map that describes where friends and foes are, and who borders them. If you want to get to an enemy, you may have to go through another person.They can either decide to let you through, or you can go through by force. You get to place where your faction goes, and please: NO BEING OP
Other rules:
You can place anywhere on the map, even empty space!
No super OP factions Cough Cosmolord Cough

The darker shade of gray represents the United Crigonean Empire's territory, the white represents a few colonies, and the light gray represents the Confederation's territory after gaining freedom from the Empire.

I have fixed the map so it does not have some HUGE ass green circle on it that i made a while ago.
Now it is replaced by the STE's new territories.
Or more accurately, the projected territories of the yet to be named Tau-Anhysbys alliance.

The area to the right of the territories is the STE nebula
The other area is a combined area of space that includes their old space, and new territories that will fuel their biomatter and ship production.

Edit: the STE and Anhysbys have formed into the JTAE, and now control the territories together
