I started working on a Mod that adds Antimatter to the Game as type of weapon, source for fuel, propulsion method and all the like... but I need some help with it couse im not really fammilar with how the syntax and Object management works in this modding language...
At the moment ive got reskins for the batteries and a script to add the Antimatter as ammotype...
(literally started like 5 minutes before posting this)

Questions:
- Is it possible to create a Beam type weapon that doesnt stretch but stack beam textures?
- Is it possible to create Factories that need 2 types of ingredients to operate?

I've parts in my mod which requires antimatter but haven't made any of the underlying support system yet. The reason being energy supplies are measured in amount of energy. It really doesn't matter which source they come from. It's more a technical and visual thing. But I do plan to add them sometime, too. This might save me the trouble. That said...

    It would be great to have Antimatter not only as something just like batteries but also as ingredient for other things in combination with other stuff... like exotic particles... ive checked out some of your mods content too. Its cool.

    How would the Sprites actually work with more than 2 ingredients... i hope that you wouldnt need to supply assets for every single possible ingredient in storage

      This is a bitmap based game with no image manipulation function (changing hue or so), so bitmaps are needed for everything. So does coding the script. This is not likely to change for some time.
      Btw. antimatter glows purple (like hydrogen no difference other than the charge)

        this is not supposed to be Anti Hydrogen. The color of antimatter is not defined scince it has only be syntezyzed as Anti Hydrogen in small quantities.

          Might aswell be Anti Lithium which would burn Crimson Red
          Or Mercury which is pretty close to the color i chose

          I also Assume that Antimatter weapons and cells and other stuff is kept pretty hot

            Antimatter would follow the same physical laws as normal matter.
            So, if you had a solid brick of Lithium matter, in the same environment, you would also have a solid brick of Lithium antimatter. (Except you wouldn't, since it's very difficult to make solids (even as light as lithium) float in a vacuum and it would explode.)
            Gases are far easier to contain. And the energy requirement to vaporize lithium and maintain it in a gaseous form would be too much to be feasible.

              at the moment thats true but this is a sci fi game.
              It only has to be logical to some extend or do you believe a Warpdrive based on Antimatter is possible couse according to Star Trek it is.

                It depends whether a rule has been made or not. If not then the real world laws apply.

                Ok im gonna make my Antimatter Red. I will also try to involve as little physics law violations as possible

                  A Friend just told me that the core of the Antimatter beam reminds him of Red Matter so i might make this a Red Matter weapon and make Purple Antimatter. Then Antimatter will be converted into Red Matter in a Red Matter Fabricator and Antimatter will be produced in a particle accelerator. That way its already 2 ammo types...

                      I dont know the Relationship between Antimatter and Red Matter either but it would make Red Matter far more Expensive to use for really Powerfull Weaponry... The Conversion rates between power and Antimatter are already quite low and I will do the same for Red Matter making it quite rare but it will pay off

                        I have need for other types of ammo, or rather their production. Since mod v.0.4 I have new ammo bitmaps but lack those for the ones from cosmoteer 0.9.x. Was not possible to have those back then so they still use cannon bullets and plasma.
                        I desire StarTrek torpedo casings production, and rail gun (have bitmap) production facilities as well as for Abh railgun missiles/mines. @IVIemories might be working on some, too, so there need to be communication established to avoid conflict. (see also cosmoteer discord channel)

                          Lafiel I'm working on textures only for now. It's going to be pretty generic too so there isn't a lot of confusion about it.
