Made a longer version of the animati=on. Now there is a loading animation in there, making this a complete firing cycle https://piskel-imgstore-b.appspot.com/img/a99f931e-40c4-11e8-a417-95a61d2f5243.gif
BattleCruiserCommander now working on that. It's gonna be more detailed
TurboTwinky28 make the new shell slide in from behind the tank and make the empty shell slowly fade to the background color
TurboTwinky28 What program did you use to make that? I’d really like to try it out myself.
the_guy545 Piskel https://www.piskelapp.com/p/agxzfnBpc2tlbC1hcHByEwsSBlBpc2tlbBiAgMCX-rbcCww/edit
IMO, not the best but I use it since it's the first non-sketchy sprite program I found with good UI. Also helps if you have experience with stop-motion work
TurboTwinky28 I really love art, and pixel art is one of my favorite forms of it. Though, I draw more with paper and pencil than digital art.
TurboTwinky28 Wanna see some of my drawings?
the_guy545 sure, lets see em
the_guy545 sure
thatPolarBear Due to the limitations of piskel, I can't make the empty shell fade away. sucks 'cause I really liked that suggestion. I have found a solution that is very similar to your idea though
Updated animation: https://piskel-imgstore-b.appspot.com/img/11134123-40e7-11e8-a0eb-95a61d2f5243.gif
fresh shell now appears and spent shell falls into a pile of other discarded casings. suggested by thatPolarBear . Piskel doesn't have a function that allows you to adjust translucency for a single pixel. Instead, I created the pile of empty shells and made the recently fired shell slowly fade into the pile. This new solution was based on PolarBear's original fade-away suggestion
TurboTwinky28 Ok. Imma go make a new thread for it, just wait.
Made this on my phone while in the car

the_guy545 Here's a Quick Tip: Use anticipation! Make it pump, Give it tensity, and then a fast Execution will make it fantastic!
the_guy545 it would look better if instead of posting a link you could post the gif file here.
Sombreroman Thanks for the tips, but I’m a complete amateur at digital art. I’m more suited to draw with paper and pencil than on a computer screen.
the_guy545 Same...Ish... There...
