What's the max speed?

Does anybody know exactly how ship max speed is calculated? I know it's proportional to engine speed and inversely proportional to ship mass, but I don't know the exact formula. Does anybody know?

I'm trying to run some calculations with the new engines, and knowing how quickly speed maxes out is important.

Space drag is basically ships lose 10% of their velocity every second. So to make the fastest ship, you basically want it to have the highest thruster-to-mass ratio available.
