(The virus is actually sentient. So sentient, that it is actively trying to kill the Kragan, because it understands that it would otherwise die out.)
Kragans have very strong claws, and some have been able to climb through some shutters to escape the vacuum, but at least 3 Kragan Corpses are now laying there... The Doc tries his best to stop the Kragan, but the brain just keeps BOILING and getting HOTTER and hotter. Not much time left...

(Also, Kragans are literally the most dangerous species on Krag. Here some Infos that could help you:
-Living and Hunting in packs of 5-6
-Attacking out of the Dark, encircling their prey
-Able to jump and climb very easily and elegantly
-Fight like cats, but have the social behaviour of wolves
-Look like giant Wolves with 6 Teeth showing out of their jaws)

The squads use laser pistols to cut through a section of the hull, then using their magnetized boots walk along the outside of the hull to their shuttle, entering by the external airlock
Pilot: "You took your time, what the hell's going on, i've got every light on this damn ship burnin like a christmas tree."
Sergeant Goldd: "Retract docking tube but do not pull away, stay on course level with the hospital ship"

Steel and the others have found a small creature rundown of the Kragans, and what seems like a map showing the lab, where the virus was searched upon..
The Kragans Brain boils completely, killing the Kragan and frying all virus cells. But there are more infected Kragans in the Room.*

The shuttles dock, they begin to disgorge R&D Decontaminant troopers onto the hospital ship, they are dressed in normal trooper armour with Ecosuits over the top fitted with special TATC quarantine modules, they set to work securing landing areas by releasing Stumm gas into the corridor sections they are boarding in effectively neutralising any threats, they then post guards at the landing area and appear to wait.

Nothing is coming out... It seems that the Kragans have, after seen one of their kind get knocked out by stumm projectiles and sniffing the stumm in these projectiles, understood that they will lose bodily controls and after sniffing this in the walkways, they pulled back until the gas cleared and mixed itself with the gas to a concentration level that isnt harmful for them. This kind of adaptive behaviour has already been observed before...

++Sorry for the late reply but things are a little hairy here, no we are not currently at war with anyone, we are a neutral organisation and only ever enter conflict to try and save lives not take them, the outbreak in question seems to only seriously affect one species, a wolf-like pack oriented animal known as a "Kragan" which when under the influence of the virus becomes dangerous and agressive, there is a potentially unknown faction with a small fleet here which would be the only other possible risk but they appear friendly as it is they who asked us for help. I think that covers everything.++

Adams walks over to the scared looking Kragan, making sure not to make contact with it, and tries to reassure it

(Humans do get knocked out by Stumm gas unless they are wearing respirators, however, the Stumm gas released would have effected only a relatively small area otherwise they would have been at risk of knocking out Adams or any survivors of the attack)

The Kragan seems to be frightened at first, but then, starts to come closer, interested and curious. It seems to still been a puppy. Maybe it has some kind of natural immunity to the virus. Doc could surely do something with that...

...the Lynx Vessel starts docking the frigate and two 4 TATC employees leave the ship, once they entered the ship retreated a few meters from the frigate waiting there...
...two of the members seemed to be already know by the Hospitaliers, a man and a woman, they wore TATC uniforms and had several small bipyramidical objects embedded in their belts apart of that did not SEEM to have anything else with them, the other two also had a TATC uniform even though they looked slightly different, they also had a similar belt and held an object that looked like some kind of highly advanced energy rifle, they were completely black apart of several glowing purple lines running along parts of the weapons and three glowing pyramidical crystals on one side...
...one of the escorts took one of the objects from his belt and placed it midair where it stayed, floating, a few moments later it started eminating a calm light, sufficient enough to light up a whole corridor, while the already known man started contacting the Hospitaliers...

Then, once more, a transmission was sent from the Lynx-vessel to the Karagarians, this time it was someone else on the visuals...

...the other of the escort now removed a cube from his own belt he threw it into the middle of the corridors and for a few moments it radiated a dim purple light...
"Set up particle veil, whatever it is, it should be showing up in the HUD in a few moments."
While saying this the group moved closer together the escorts assuming a battlestance with their weapons up...
(he just set up a particle veil, it essentially sends out a continuous stream of lowly charged particles that latch onto all surfaces in range, be it synthetic or biological, the particles reactions and movements can be tracked with the HUD installed in their armlets, oh and please, do not assume things in regard of teh TATC members)

...the man looked at her, "I will try to extract the virus now."...the woman stood back from the infected and waited, while the man palced the device on the infecteds head and activated it...
(the device can extract cells and materials foreign to the body of an organism and places them in a sealed cryo-container, the downside is that it occassionaly removes implants and similar things if they are not registered beforehand, that´s why they needed the biodata.)

SPECIES PROFILE: KRAGAN

Living on the Homeworld of Krag, this is a large carnivorous pack hunting species. They like to hunt in the night in packs of 5-6. The average shoulder height is 4-5 metres. They are the alpha predators on Krag, which has a humid, tropic climate.
Using the shadows to their advantage, they attack out of the dark, and can surprise even the most skilled hunters. Their large teeth maul everythin caught in them.
They have efficient metabolisms, able to stay for a long time without food, but still being agile and elegant as big cats. They often use the ceiling or upper areas to attack from or other unusual ways to attack and are very adaptable and intellegent.

They CAN be tamed, but this is a hard process and is often only able to be done, when a small pup or helped in great need.
Once tamed they are fiercely loyal and because of their size can be ridden without a problem.
They also can climb easily and jump long distances.
