(He would not attempt to leave the room, and wouldn't need to use his strength to phase through a wall. At it's 'ground' state, Manifest phases through everything. In fact, It would take strength to physically interact with it. Because of this fact, the gas would have no effect on Manifest, as it would phase right through it. The umbrella generator, however, would definitely effect it, though.)

It was slightly confused as to what had just happened. It was having a very hard time seeing or hearing, and could only really see a few inches in front of itself. It tried drawing it's sword, but couldn't as it would require psionic abilities to do so. At this point, Manifest decided to flee. It wasn't worth all of this hassle. It instantly exited from the exact point where it entered, and began to flee. When it got to the 100 meter mark, Manifest started to be less effected by the umbrella generator, but was still too weakened to draw his blade.
