Tson Surgeon Research Humbly Presents...
THE SURGEON + SECTOR 37 CORRUPTION RESEARCH CONTAINMENT STATION! (C.R.C.S.)
Mass: 7474.3 Tonnes
Crew: 800 Scientists
Value: 7,538,900 Credits
But, We provide it to you for free. We built it to make sure the Station would disappear like the subject of a magic trick if There's a Containment Breach. The C.R.C.S. Has three layers:
CORE: Contains Samples of N. Reppetius, The Corruption's Bacterial Symbiotic Host, The Corruption Protozoa itself, C. Lithodea, The two mixed, And finally a Sector which generates Cellular Globs simulating a Human body, See-through in nature. They are the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom Respectively. Each contains Fans that force the Microbes Inward, Preventing the Spread of the Corruption Uncontrollably. It is by far the most disposable, only costing Around 77,500 Credits.
Surrounding that, We have:
THE PRIMARY LAB: Here, Four Top Scientists, Clad in Two layers of Hazmat suit, Research the Corruption. We argued whither or not we should put an FTL Drive here, seeing how the Scientists can't use it, but the Corruption Can potentially. Eventually, We agreed to keep them, Seeing just how easy It'd be to destroy the Drives, Too. The space Between the Lab and the Core has an acid so potent only one type of metal Isn't Disintegrated by it. In that mannerism, It's nearly impossible for The Corruption to Escape. If it SOMEHOW finds a way to resist the Acid, The Scientists make a run for it on the Bridge, Lined with charges to Disconnect the Primary Lab from the Outer Shell, Which we call...
THE CODE BROWN CRUST: Code Brown Is a Not Very Well Known code, but it means WORSE THAN CODE RED. When Code Brown happens and the Corruption is about to leave the Primary Lab, We detonate it and begin to Incinerate the Remains. Although they don't look different from average missile, The Missiles also contain the Acid from earlier, Disintegrating the Biohazards on contact. The Ion Beams we use are So Radioactive the Remaining 796 Crew Members Wear Space Suits. So do the Scientists under the Two Hazmat Suits. That is Devotion to preventing the Spread of the Corruption! Shields have also Proven to be Exquisite at Repelling the Corruption, Too, Which is why we have so many of them forming an Impenetrable wall. IF, ON THE DAY THE CORRUPTION TOUCHES THE GROUND, DOOMFIST BECOMES LOVED AGAIN, TEG COMES BACK, AND THE CAKE ISN'T A LIE, They somehow get through THAT, We don't just hit the "We're Screwed" Button. In that Case, Everybody Goes to the Four Scanning Rooms, Whatever one's Closest, To check if they're infected. If not, they Go on an Escape Pod. If they ARE, Though... Um. Skip, Please...
After Everybody's Accounted For, The Escape Pods are Equipped to care for 50 People each, The number each one needs to contain assuming nobody gets Infected. But, this is only Code Brown on Strongroidstm . If It's a Minor Breach, We have Sprays onboard that destroy the Bacteria's Cell Membrane, Effectively popping it and Making C. Lithodea (The Corruption) No longer airborne, Greatly hindering it's Spreading ability. With that, The station Simply needs to Recycle the infected Parts to be used with a Future Core, and then get Replacement Modules soon after. In the WORST CASE SCENARIO EVEN IMAGINEABLE, The rest of the ship can Detonate, Which tells the Guarding fleet to Destroy the Remains of the Ship. Then, The Escape pods can either go Onboard the Accompanying fleet, Or FTL to a safe location. We also have a Corruption Washing station onboard the Code Brown Crust, Letting you wash off your hazmat suit of the Corruption just In case you're down to your last one.
And yes, We do scan and wash our Escape Pods. We're blocking off any way the Corruption can Escape. With that, We Hope You Enjoy your Free 800 Scientists, Their Required things, and the Massive Space Station!
