Love the game, but not how the ships fight so close you can probably stick your head out an airlock and have a good chance of hitting each other with rocks, so I'm doing something about that.
The mod may be tweaked as I go, but here's what I have so far.
Weapon ranges and projectile velocities are quadrupled. Missiles get increased range, but only 3 times the lifetime. May tweak this after additional playtesting, idea is extreme range will get the missile one chance to hit, if it misses, no time to try again.
Point defense range and shot velocity increased 50%

Edit 1: Replaced zip with one made via in game mod manager.
Edit 2: Forgot about the ion beams, will poke at that tomorrow.
Edit 3: Looked at em, same issue as missile lifetime. Need help figuring out how to get that modded without changing base game files.
Edit 4: Stuff sorted, all 0.12.6 stock weapons are now covered.
