The super-massive rift-signature appears in real space and everything suddenly goes dark - blacker than the pitch black void in space without stars. A Coreship attached to what seems to be another, bigger Coreship that appears to sustain it, surrounded by an ever-growing swarm of Light fighters. All of the Rogue ships are illuminated with a malevolent red glow, Everything else seems only to glow in grey and white - especially a bright white in the case of the Mak.

Time and space do not seem the same here. You seem to be in its own world, now.

The Mak ships begin to swarm the rogue ships, blue lances spearing from the small drones, disintegrating the hulls on contact, the same drones then firing torpedoes at the now weakened armor
