FangTheCat several high energy signatures appear on the base, likely the railguns collecting charge. However, there is also one, exceptionally alarming high-energy signature, something stronger than anything than the Scavangers could have constructed themselves.

jbox1 High concentration of Rift-Signatures detected, Assault-Class Droneships comprising of Strike Craft (Bombers, Heavy Fighters) and Assault Beacons appear from the portals. Upon noticing the massive energy signatures likely from planetary defenses, the Droneships scatter formation.

They seem to be going AROUND the base, not heading towards it.

The Mobile suit turns around, Unpiloted.. It starts emitting more particles, a large cannon is deployed, It spreads apart , held together with the particles..

The Weapon fires, it is clear it has immense power, but not the most that has been seen, Instead of the shot going straight for the opponent, it spreads out, creating a massive particle shield..

FangTheCat Xylan: Nani? Pah! A little particle sheild never stopped a slug. Let’s send a warning shot.

A railgun releases it’s charge, and it’s shot lands on the side of the disfunctional vessel, missing the sheild. Well, what was the side of the vessel. Now all there is a few heavily bent structural peices after the shell tore through it. Luckily you were on the other side of the ship, but another shot like that could end you, if the particle barrier doesn’t hold.
