I see missiles two way:
They are way how to fast finish battle when enemy get damaged enough to be not able defend from singled missiles launcher, but still can flight around- this way is now much slower due to missiles lower damage.
Missiles force you to add on ship surface area weakest point from durability, blocking precious space, and forcing you to use more clever way of building ship.
What I don't want to see is that missiles is 100% way to win in case battle has enough time.
And even 99,99999% chance for PD to kill missiles leave 100% certainty that once, one missile leak and do any damage (and everyone who know a bit about probability, is can by with same chance first missile as well as missile number billionbilions).
And both nerf to PD- lower than 100% chance in hit to destroy missile, and lower accuracy ( I knew that theoriticaly accuracy should be higher but that 1 degree spread instead previous 5 make missile hit significantly less, due to accidental hits performed before and now, and aiming on moving target which change directions based on situation, is in cosmoteer really doubfull(and was well explained 7-8 month ago why 5degree inaccuracy make pd stronger than more accuracy by someone, but Walt knew about it for sure) ) make missile for sure more often able to leak, and do some damage, but, low damage, leading to lower time for missiles to finish fight, its more boring.
Id prefer missiles as big threat, which can be countered more easily, then to be lower threat which happen more often. And new ability to block missiles by shields significantly more effectievely than before, makes fights longer (more boring).
