jbox1 So, your saying it would fill in the voids for "normal" sized ships, and yet, people making normal sized ships probably wouldn't have space for a 5x5 core. If you think about it for a while, that is absolutely insane! Also, it would be super ugly, I mean the cores are already just big ugly bubble things, but when it is 5x5, it looks like complete trash. Anyways, why not shrink it from 5x5 to 4x4? 4x4 is much more reasonable, and much more flexible, it might fit into some fighters and bombers, unlike a 5x5.
