the Aristophontanes sector will be receiving a sector-wide heavy meteor shower as a result of the debris from moon Tifus III colliding with the Gelasimus planet. Inhabitants on planets Phygia IV, Fridericus I, Antipho VII, Ergalisus XI and their respective moons should expect to be blasted by the cenntenial CME from the local star over in Camillus sector. Be sure to follow the proper procedures and stock up on natural gas for your back up furnaces. Sector Alanus' Lampadio V, Philoxene and their moons will recieve a light micro-meteor shower withn the week, it will last between 3 - 6 days. Light weight space craft, enter the affected areas with caution as the shower may tear your heat-shields beyond repair (even if it's light). enter with caution.

Urgent
The star in the Theodoris solar system (Lena subsector, Lupinus sector) beware. repeat, beware, is going super nova within 2 weeks. Anybody who has not yet evacuated, do so now lest you wish to be turned back to star stuff. All space craft, military, civilian, commercial or private, avoid the system until officials deem it safe

oh don't worry about it being inappropriate, some of my customers have had much much worse requests.
as for the gravity generators, yes there are some, but the majority of the gravity is generated from the station rotating around the central docks.

A man in a conical hat with some sort of rugs out of metal wire hanging from the sides of the hat is speaking.
"Greetings. Thanks to our engineers idling and doing not exactly legal things, I have heard of you hiring various personnel. May I apply for a, hmm."
The man opens some sort of incredibly fashionable PDA which is a clean white plastic stripe with a flat screen entirely out of hardlight projected from the stripe.
"...yes, a weatherman. Also, do you by any chance have possibilites for..."
Some robotic voice appears in the background. "Sir, if I were not to inform you the thirty-eighth time that this is ridiculous."
"...forget it."

The man coughs and microjumps to a GMC-1, holding a very odd weapon-like object and the aforementioned PDA.

Right now, we can clearly see here the man presses something on his PDA, which reshapes into a large hardlight projector that shows a map of the Milky Way that the main spot for anomalous events happening is Offworld, encountering a large asteroid which shapes non-euclidean geometry out of itself when mined."
"Next, we have a suspicious dent in the fabric of space nearby Planet 40818925610 the man points at a spot in the projected map, spot is apparently in neutral territory, and the planet currently hosts a completely naturally formed Klein bottle on its surface, growing as a tree, whose trunk is the exact shape of the mentioned object. No, it is not for sale."
"This concludes Shade's Anomaly Forecast for today. Happy space-bending!"
