How do people make those long snake/worm ships?

also I can save it as one because the joints are connected with the structure blocks, then you self destruct them.
feel free to use the joint I made, It may not be the best, but it works.
(the joint is that entire spiral in the middles, including the weird bump.)

TheSillyFox in multi player you cant self destruct a block you need to let your enemie destroy it or explosive charge

set the back ones move to your worm's thruster part then the thruster part wont be effect by the back ones ( it can move normaly)
