I had just started a new bounty hunter game and when I warped to the second system this one ship's weapons ignored my shields. This has never happened to me before and only effects this one ship. Also if you load the save the glitch is repeatable. By the way I have no mods. But I do have old video drivers. You can see a video of the glitch here.
edit: after posting this the glitched save was fixed.
