There is a say about the Kinneah Corporations: If there is something they can get profit from, they already exploited it.
The Kinneah Corporations were founded by human corporations from Terran Federation who were "uncomfortable" with their government economic system. After a war in the federation in which these corporations helped greatly with funds and weapons, they demanded as a compensation a few outer systems and complete independency. Since the Federation had a great debt with the corporations it had to accept.
Since then these corporations have been working for only one thing: benefits.
Territory
The Kinneah Corporations territory is small. Just a few systems in the border of the Terran Federation. These systems are not particularly rich in any resource. That's why there has not been any wars within their borders.
Their territory is divided within the corporations. The more power a corporation has, the more territory they control. How they manage their territory depends on the corporation owning it, but usually it's a system that treat their civilians as livestock. They control the population by one simple thing: hope. Anyone living in the corporations has the "chance" of becoming a directive. Giving them the chance of becoming something more important and have more power makes them more obedient. The corporations main world name is know by many, but only the highest directives within the corporations know its actual position. Hermes is a paradise for a few chosen. It has gardens of the most exotic plants, Buildings beyond eccentricity. Coliseums where creatures from all the galaxy fights for the delight of a few. Hermes has any luxury that you can imagine, and even more.
Structure
The Kinneah Corporations is composed by a pack of corporations and companys, each one competing with the others. The most powerful ones are Newland Enterprises, Weightless Stone and Eden's Looters. Still, the have a central command that sets the rules and laws of the Corporations. It also commands the Corporations Security Fleets, which are the main forces of the Corporations. The central command is composed by directives from the different corporations and companys. The more power they have the more representation they have on the central command. The central command also chooses the Corporations director. Its job its to coordinate the central command and protect the Corporations interests.
The actual director is an implacable man from a small company bright enough to make each of the main corporations to choose him so the power balance between them does not break (or at least not in his favour).
Its name is Marcus Larr and its a caucasian 28 years old male.
The directors from the main corporations are:
Shara Hemmins, main "chief" of Eden's Looters.
Lukas Arrand, mastermind of the Weightless Stone.
Garek Lothalik, director of Newland Enterprises.
Military
The "army" of the Kinneah Corporations are known as the Corporations Security fleets. These fleets works under the central command orders only. These fleets can be from small raiding parties to mighty armadas. Their versatility and their advanced technology makes them really effective at whatever the central command consider.
Each fleet has an Admiral that answer back only to de central command.
