the Diamond Legion are a mass of sentient diamonds that has existed for millennia.
many of their brothers and sisters had been carried away by miners, and now they have come to avenge them.
they do not seek war, but will not hesitate to carry out raids, attacks, and bombardments on any who oppose them.
in terms of appearances, they are humanoids made of diamonds. the higher the rank, the larger and more armor they wear.
when they die, they decompose into coal corpses.

one of their more deadly pieces of equipment are their solar cannons; massive energy collectors that, when activated, form a ball of pure energy and launch it at 10x the speed of light.
these are only operated by high ranked commanders.

speaking of ranks, this list will help with identifying their rank.
there are 2 types of ranks, civilian and military.
both ranks provide for the economy.
military ranks.
"rookies" - the basic infantry, these make up the majority of the population.
"troopers" - more specialized soldiers, they are usually given the role of snipers, drivers, or pilots.
"officers" - still considered soldiers by others, this rank is when you receive your first personal ships to command.
"lieutenants" - at this rank, size changes are noticeable, they now are allowed to command 15 ships as their personal fleet.
"commanders" - this is one of the hardest ranks to achieve, this rank now is allowed to operate solar cannons
"vice-admirals" - also a hard rank to achieve, they can now command 300 ships in their personal fleet
"admirals" - highest military rank available, they command only the largest fleets, these fleets can have up to 800 ships is service.
civilian ranks.
"citizens" - regular civilian
"working" - the major work populous
"priests" - the diamond legions faith believes that those who are in great power must be willing to die for their people.
"guards" - technically they are part of the military as they can become higher ranked, but guards are located in civilian areas, wearing ceremonial dress.
