the_guy545 "I am starting to think that your drivers should probably rest instead of rescuing this here moron."
"And that's why we don't have full AI rights. One of the few things I'm glad the Offworld has done."
"It looks like the taxi is here."
Hexer waves from the debris, and the taxi comes near.
Both Hexer and Alerauf synchronically say "Hello again." which sounds pretty creepy.
"You must be the driver that delivered this scum to Offworld, yes? Well, thanks to you, he nearly murdered himself in a "scientific" expedition, gave me a good reason to, uh, get fired from one very angry sir, and almost killed us both by trying to protect me when I was trying to protect him, and he protected me too harshly which caused another sir to explode the reactors, and most "scientists" with them."
Hexer points at the debris.
"Yeah, as he is saying, this was nowhere near a scientific expedition, and the only thing I've gained from it is Offworld losing Project Hexer for pretty much ever."
"Yes, I forgot to say that we have no credits with us, and if you wish, you can disassemble me and sell for parts."
"No, don't actually do that. He can tell jokes, at least."
"As you yourself pointed out, they weren't funny anyway."
"I can never understand you. Weren't computers made for predictability?"
"I am not a computer."
"... THEN WHO ARE YOU?"
"From Offworld's point of view, a Child of the Sixth."
Alerauf: (Eww. Explains that "loyalty glitch")
"From your point of view, a useless robot."
Alerauf nods
"From their point of view, property. Am I right, sir Gerry?"
