THE NEW CONGLOMERATE
Rebels with a cause
A rebel faction, that sometimes works with the PALS, comprised of thieves, smugglers, deserters, etc. They believe in peace across the galaxy , no matter what the cost. The NC is the hated enemy of "The Infinity Church" (TIC) aka "Our Church of the Celestial God" (OCCG). More on them later. They have been in constant battles against each other, in space, on seas, in cities, in whole quadrants of the galaxies and more. No one is really quite sure when the battle will end, but one thing is for certain. There will be blood shed. Lots of it.
Their motto:
"Libertas, pax, unitas, effundendum sanguinem."
"Liberty, Peace, Unity, Bloodshed."
FACTION FLAG:
ORIGINS: VARIOUS (Multiple species, along with humans, work together.)
The New Conglomerate formed in about 2130, 15 years after the OCCG took over most of the galaxy. Many feared that soon all of the galaxy would fall under the Church's rule, but soon small pockets of resistance formed. Soon more and more joined. First it was little skirmishes and guerrilla warfare, then bigger larger battles, and finally, the formation of The New Conglomerate. And it only took over a billion souls to get there.
HIERARCHY: Their leader, Mon Mothra, commands the fleet, with loyal generals on her side. There are also various other leaders who support this rebellion.
NC HQ's:
Corvo: A barren desolate planet, covered with sand as far as the eye can see. A large underground base is located somewhere in the northern hemisphere, where most capitol ships hide inside. It's also a meeting place for The Conglomerate Council, where the leaders discuss their next battle plans.
Gustooine V: The Conglomerates most important military checkpoint. This planet is where the Battle of Gustooine took place, a strategic victory for the NC that pushed the OCCG out of that sector.
Salarum: An ancient homeworld for the Idej, an ancient culture that assisted the Old Conglomerate...that is, before it's fall...It's now used as a base of operations and resource planet.
Htoh: the exact opposite of Corvo, made entirely of ice. The Conglomerate soon abandoned it after someone accidentally mailed the a birthday card to the wrong address, the OCCG's address, that is. Must of been a bummer for the lucky birthday boy. Or should I say, un-lucky birthday boy.

SHIPS:
HALTRIX: An attack cruiser meant to support larger ships. Its Spitfire II's decimate foes, and will surely give you a bad day.
MJOLNIR: This ship is meant to disable enemy systems, so other ships can dive in and finish it off. It's pretty handy against heavily shielded ships, since it's EMP lasers can disable them.
JACKHAMMERHEAD: Designed to look like a ferocious creature of the same name, which resides in the water world of Laos II, it's frontal cannons rip through armor, and is able to quickly catch up with enemy ships, and take a large bite out of them (pun intended). these are employed in small squads, usually to defend planets and bases.
NEW CONGLOMERATE SPACE STATION: That's only the model name for these things. Each station has their own names, and the one picture here is the Regency Space Station (RSS), which defends the Euclidean sector. They have laser turrets and cannons alike, and docking ports for transferring crew or to refuel small craft.
DEFENDER HEAVY MISSILE CRUISER: Armed with the ferocious MLRS Cerberus, the Defender is usually employed when there are large squadrons of ships, and the missiles are able to target multiple ships. It does take time to rearm the launchers, so they are fairly vulnerable. They only have the MLRS as their weapons, so usually they smaller ships to support them.
RAGNAROK: A large T H I C C B O I I that is sure to make you wanna poop your pants. There have been reports of whole squadrons of starfighters fleeing, due to the overwhelming size and armament these things have. The various missile systems on the Ragnarok also take quite a while to rearm, so smaller ships escort them. But they usually just sit back and let the Ragnarok do all the work for them. Lazy bastardos...
PRAEDATOR: A sniper type ship, the Praedator stalks it's victims, waiting to strike, then coming in and using it's EMP's to disable the ship and eliminate it. If I was Arnold Schwarzenegger and this replaced the Yajuta, I would lose all my testosterone and get the heck out of there!
M-WING: Part of the Wing series of starfighters, the M-Wing's main feature is it's Proton torpedo launcher which it uses to great effect. By itself, it's toast. In a squadron, it's buttered toast.
Q-WING: A starfighter meant for quick hit-and-run tactics. These things are fairly quick, but it's armament and armour are lacking in umph.
QE-Wing: A much more heavily modified Q-Wing. They are fairly more powerful than it's base model, but still advised to use hit and run tactics.
T-WING: This thing should be called the "Upside-Down-T-Wing." Actually, that doesn't really have that ring to it. These things are basically modified Q-Wings, with two extra blasters and upgraded engines.
CETE-CLASS CARGO FREIGHTER: A large, ungainly ship used for transporting supplies. It is decently armed, but it's recommended to have some ships to support it. It also has a scout vehicle in the rear that can detach from the ship.
VICTORY-CLASS STAR DESTROYER: These things are crazy. Really crazy. The guns, the lasers, the missiles, everything is just crazy about it. These are usually employed in groups of 3, which is more than enough to give me a bad hair day. Their also pretty agile for how big they are, too.
CS AVALON: The NC's flagship. The pride of the fleet, this thing is more than thrice the size of a Victory-Class. Armed with the experimental Quad Oigami shielded laser emplacements, the Avalon cost a lot of taxpayers money, and if it got destroyed...oh boy. The Council would be in a lot of debt.
THE LIFE STAR: This created from stolen plans from a galaxy, far, far away from this one. It takes a lot of manpower to run this thing. It was completed in 2170, and it took 15 years to complete, due to the NC's resources lacking. So various technology from different species were combined to make this thing. There's definitely no weakness whatsoever. Nope. No bueno. (What do you mean there's a large hole in the back of the station?...Well then fix it!...WHAT! The OCCG is coming?!...Uh- I'll be right back folks...)
Later in on the news:
LARGE SPACE STATION IS DESTROYED
A large amount of NC members were killed in a massive space station at the Battle of Nivay, but luckily no Council members were on board. Does this spell certain doom for the New Conglomerate? Is the galaxy safe? And most importantly, will I ever find a higher paying job than this? Stay tuned...
