I like to put doors everywhere, to help the crew pathfind. But on large ships putting doors everywhere becomes really laggy. Idk if anyone else would like such option, but it seems useful in some situations.

I agree the idea is good but, I take the opposite approach and would like an option to toggle all doors OR no doors - I prefer to force paths for crew and fire and I find myself always deleting doors I don't want.

ja7833 Its in Key bindings- Ship desingner. Its called "Dont automatically add door". The default key is Tilde

Automatically placing all doors would be more useful than automatically placing some doors, which is the default.
