If your superior is weak within the Empire it is your job to kill them and take their place if you believe you can perform better. Authority figures must always be wary of their underlings.
CLASS SYSTEM:
Emperor - Supreme leader
Council - Run the day to day and follow the Emperor commands
Nobility - Powerful warriors and tacticians who may someday have the power to take a place on the Council.
Military - Soldiers are raised above the common citizen as proud warriors ready to fight for their Emperor,
Civilian - Those too old or unsuitable for military service. They make up roughly 30% of the population and are responsible for things like farming.
Slaves/Outcasts - Those who have been taken captive in war or those cast down for being cowards. They have no rights.
