For example, look at any of the Elder Scrolls or Fallout games Bethesda has made. All mods, and I mean ALL mods made by gamers (you and me) are the property rights of Bethesda. The players have no right what so ever to sell these mods.
So, I don't see much difference in ships we make using the game engine. Does that not make the ships the property of @Walt since we used his tool (the game) to make and paint the ships?
That and I would be excited if Walt used any of my ships in the game, with no compensation to me.
There are currently 2 games being sold on Steam where I am 'named in the credits' or I have an 'easter egg' of me in their game. Its exciting!
