TheSillyFox The artifact itself appears to be a pair of tonfas - a weapon from ages long forgotten. It consists of a stick that is as long as 1,5 lengths of the user's forearm, and has a handle on 2/3 counting from its thicker end. When handled, the tonfas automatically adjust themselves to fit this ratio. The front has a hole, and the handle has a button on its top. The button is put deeper into the handle to avoid accidental pressing, thus it appears that the tonfas also include a gun of sorts. When swung, they emit a momentary flash from their longer end. Presumably, it is an additional hardlight blade that deploys quick enough to cut apart most armor. The "gun" inside launches hardlight stakes of a sort that dissipate after 20-30 meters travelled, but can inflict severe blunt trauma. When more than 10 either blade strikes or gunshots were made, the tonfas automatically contract into their shorter position and recharge for 1-2 hours under an ordinary ship light.
