Right now, there is a small delay between a volatile part being destroyed and the damaging part explosion happening. This makes for extremely satisfying and realistic chain explosions.
However, this delay can cause problems on fast-moving or fast-turning ships. Since the part explosion occurs at the position the part occupied (relative to the grid) when it was destroyed, the explosion may be in a completely different place (relative to the ship). This can nullify internal armor if the ship is moving quickly enough, or lead to other unusual behavior.
