Gladiaxa An order has been issued to immediately remove the egg from the deposit, analyze it for radioactivity levels and return to N if possible. Egg seemed to completely reflect all radiation and is now in hands of N personally. He also took a couple of basic heat-seeking and dodging missiles for his ASCHHL-Ini. Missiles dodge cold objects and seek heated ones, effective against thrusters but easily shot down by point defense as the missile identifies the shot as a target and will trigger an explosion even when not touching it. Manually guided scout missiles in development. Also Offworld removes taxes on civilians due to the current tough situation.

Dumb This is not a transmission. I did not write Transmission start/end and so it is not a transmission. Nobody in their sane mind would ever tell everyone about their more or less secret projects.

Offworld develops and creates a singular Nullifier in a hangar bay of Planet 2 using a breakthrough in drone technology, allowing drones to power more objects less efficiently. A mining operation has been sent to widen the cave and escort N to the Nullifier.

Warning: this is not supposed to be defeatable. The only possible way to do so is to have at least 3 constantly powered Ions per shield. The Nullifier also shines extremely brightly with its bulk of shields and is currently unpowered in the bay. However, there appeared to be some sort of memory leak when its shields were first activated. Again, roll a die of 6. If you get 1 or 6, you get bay coordinates and a chance to thwart Offworld progress as the defenses remain in research. Honestly, there has to be some critical weakness of someone with a quadrillion credits and a ship like this carrying the leader.

As N sees the need to improve planet defenses, he raises a militia amongst those successfully landed and throws 2 teams of a Controller and 5 Enforcers each to look for and transport survivors, as well as launching a few supply drops with flares. The improvised Offworld Stronghold tries to remake old weapon designs that became obsolete after all security drones shot their owners, and remaking the security system would mean completely replacing drone cores, which was more expensive than banning fire-, laser-, pneuma- and magarms. Examples included were an odd example of musket, a simple bolt caster that somehow synthesized immense amounts of photons when zapping two materials native to Offworld, a flare gun-like weapon that launched tactical canisters and a prototype Magpull (reference reference) which was a lightweight crossbow-like weapon utilizing electromagnets to crush the target between two shot magnets.

The research was halted when the Nullifier was sent to test its durability against a Roamer. Nullifier's large amounts of shields wiped most data from scientists' computers. Creating basic body armor from the start would take significantly more time.
A new armor design was created. It is a whole gold plate shaped after the human body which is attached to the user either using leather belts or magnets implanted into the user's ribs and spine. Note that Offworld actually has more gold than iron and sees iron and especially steel as luxury and "not worth it", however magnetic compounds have been synthesized for a few decades already.

Gladiaxa N finally sees the state of the Darkness' ships. A transmission is sent from the fleet along with the Nullifier catching up.

Gladiaxa Seeing no response, fleet obliterates the debris. N shrugs and flies away in his Nullifier. Alert level set to minimal, civilians are transported back on Celestia Alpha.

Upon reaching Celestia Alpha, numerous reports of Offworld-like designed ships come from civilians. Ships hide at first sight above or below clouds and return to a mostly uninhabited, but rather barren part of the planet. The government Scouts take a look. It turns out to be one of the companies that N recently allowed to interfere with outer space, the so-called

Hawkorp.

What was worse though, they made a well-defended base (nothing to match the current fleet, but still) right on top of the reserve of government money, filled to the brim with remote explosives. And of course, a quadrillion credits. Hawkorp's president, Adun, disarmed the money and kept 80 million credits for Hawkorp in exchange for not destroying it.

These fools! It's the Hawkorp, entitled aristocrats with an engineering degree who created their idiotic plants and factories for producing clearly inferior vessels! Threatened the whole Offworld by promising to blow up all the money of us! I don't even know if they actually disarmed the bombs. And what's worse, they control all movements of money to Offworld. My population even riots against direct acts of violence, instead trying to find a diplomatic way. Currently our bet is producing a small fleet of drones in High Hill, but we'll need to somehow... brainwash its population? Threats won't do anything. Anyway, getting the drones made in Hill is a clear way to capture another small base and advance towards their strongho- wait. It was my backup stronghold? I- I have to think about it. Later.

N turns off the transmitter and faceplants on the control console from his own idiotic ideas of protecting the population that will cut his neck if he tries to fix the conflict.

From what my Scouts seen before getting obliterated, the base has extremely heavy anti-spacecraft defenses. Only potshots in the general direction of it will do, but I'm fairly sure that they will have point defenses. I'm afraid we will either have to waste approximately half of your fleet to attack head on or move this Second War to the ground and... use ships as vehicles? We might lose a dimension in such a fight, but your vessels have cannons on top, right? We can send in these ships with attached wheels or added thrusters somewhere a bit closer to their base when we capture some more land so they won't have time to respond by building anti-ground defenses. Of course, we're sure we can handle this ourselves, so you may not use your ships, if you wish. Our infantry weapon research has been restarted, including guess what? Downscaled versions of ship weaponry. I believe that we can somehow decrease the drones' size too to create androids, but that might as well be a waste. An automatic tank would be better... ah, what am I saying. We should first survive to the point of having an opportunity to use all this. The money they've taken does not bother Offworld but bothers me because we both have enough money to build enough ships in enough time to completely annihilate each other, and if they start their production quicker by gaining factories of High Hill, so our priority should be to not let them take it. I'll discuss details when I make a plan.

Did you see that thing? They hired a merc to do the dirty work for them? If you may, send a couple cruisers to Site 16. That's an underground bunker for research, nature provides decent protection from above, but if they gain hold over the territory above 16, the scientists would rather buy their lives for research than die and destroy the projects. I don't yet have a confirmation on their plans, but a team of ships are currently investigating various neutral chokepoints, such as an FTL beacon in open space or near some planet.
