Offworld receives its shipment of anti-spacecraft handheld weapon and 2 charges from the UEE. Single direct hit is similar to that of a Large Cannon shot.

If we can understand what drives this thing, then we can possibly multiply it. Now, shall we part ways?

DocSlime Offworld has successfully complete part one,although offworlders still don’t know what contains within the egg,the speech of the predator has convinced that the egg contain some sort of power and will further its investigation

Dumb After seeing fails in scanning, puncturing, cutting a sample, impacting, setting on fire the egg, it was impaled on a mining drill and roasted with a mining laser. All has failed. N supposes the egg would make excellent body armor if it was shattered into bits and attached to the body like ordinary body armor. As so, a test to ram the egg with a Transport on full throttle against the planet's surface has been planned.

Dumb A newly hired councillor screamed at N to not test the egg like this because "it's a living being" and "crew will die" and "it's against the laws of the universe" before having a heart attack and dying on the spot. Egg test was cancelled, and instead N decided to place it in a cave with a large plutonium deposit for some time.

Right you are, Chancellor. Since whoever gave us that... egg initially came for the credits my accountant has disposed of due to her forgetting a calculator, I'm pretty sure a few shots of credits right into the debris will do the job.

N personally loads ASCHHL-Ini (anti-spacecraft handheld launcher, creatively nicknamed by most talented engineers) with an experimental guided money missile. The missile buries itself in the debris. This repeats for every large chunk of debris.
I should stop writing such nonsense. At least it's remotely funny and adds depth. Kind of.

Gladiaxa An order has been issued to immediately remove the egg from the deposit, analyze it for radioactivity levels and return to N if possible. Egg seemed to completely reflect all radiation and is now in hands of N personally. He also took a couple of basic heat-seeking and dodging missiles for his ASCHHL-Ini. Missiles dodge cold objects and seek heated ones, effective against thrusters but easily shot down by point defense as the missile identifies the shot as a target and will trigger an explosion even when not touching it. Manually guided scout missiles in development. Also Offworld removes taxes on civilians due to the current tough situation.

Gladiaxa N finally sees the state of the Darkness' ships. A transmission is sent from the fleet along with the Nullifier catching up.

The fleet synchronically fires cannons in a circle around the closest ship of Darkness, grazing it but intendedly not hitting.
