You know the wiki has guides and articles on these, too.
The starter guide you all need (and advance guide)
WRONG about the ammo and missile storage. They are much more useful than the power storage, in fact.
mystique In my experience (14 months) and multiplayer experience, ammo and missile storage are pretty much useless. Except for the one or two times they might be useful. (which I have never encountered, but have been told there are.) They are just as explosive (maybe) as the factories, and they cost too much/ take too much space to be easily added.
mystique energy storages don't explode...
mystique and the fact that ammo factorys are the same size, but factorys create an unlimited supply of ammo while storages only hold a specific amount.

mystique Using storage on this ship is absolutely pointless. You could simply replace the storages with factories and have your rocketlaunchers fire (almost) continually. The explosiveness of factories wouldn't even matter cause the reactor above would blow the area anyway.
I kinda feel bad for doing so but I would advise you to read this guide again and possibly check @Oneye s Dos and Don'ts for building guide too.
CursedPh4nt0m I have tried that, and... it doesn't work. At all. @Oneye 's guide is very useful, but i have personally easily destroyed him in multiplayer with properly placed storages.
kieffer5101 Incorrect.
mystique Everything "explodes" when it's destroyed, what we are talking about is if it does damage to things around it when it's destroyed. And as I've already said in my guide, energy storage doesn't do damage to things around it (aka it doesn't explode). You can test this yourself by putting parts around a full energy storage and then self destructing it.

@kieffer5101 and @Oneye are correct that energy storage is not explosive, while ammo and especially missile storage are. Also, reactors are extremely explosive and dangerous to put near weapons, while ammo factories are much less deadly. As a result, ammo storage is seldom useful and missile storage is basically never useful, while energy storage has niche uses.
I would strongly, strongly advise you to listen more to some of the guides and to the other players posting here. There are plenty of resources around to help all players learn.
.
I haven't played against Oneye in a while, but he's definitely a strong ship builder. It seems unlikely that you could "easily destroy" him with ships of similar quality to the one you posted above.
