The Protectors of The Gatrien have an official faction! They are an AI race which is splited into two groups, the Precursors, and Advanced, ruled by Craltisen. In this faction, it will explain who Craltisen is.
Story
On the Gatrien home planet, there was poverty, and hunger everywhere. They were poor, and they did not know how to use money well, therefore, not exploring space. This gave them only to imagine about the stars and such. Little do they know, that their home is not a planet but in fact a moon.
Craltisen had made his first ships, but they did not function well. One had been over the moon when it exploded, landing next to the capital, the only settlement. With the wreckage, they built the first ships, when they were confronted by Craltisen himself.
On first sight, Craltisen first thought to himself, Don't be like the last time, don't do it...
Craltisen: Hello there, what are you doing with that wreckage?
Leader of Gatrien: W-Who are you?
Craltisen: I am Craltisen, and you are?
Sigia: S-Sigia? W-why did you come here?
Craltisen: To reclaim the ship, though that is not an option. No matter, you can keep it.
Sigia: R-really? So not l-like the last time?
Turns out, another race had a ship crash, so the other race killed them to near extinction because of them taking it.
Over time, Craltisen felt sorry for them, and gave them food and tips on how to increase currency, and sure enough, they were in space more and more, leading to the events that had taken place. After the battle of the Varangian Guard (@Northerner ) Craltisen told them about them being on a moon, nothing really changed, but he was worrying about their safety, so he teleported them to another plain of existanse, where they will be frozen in time. He has created more ships, and has now taken their place.

Precursors
Dion Scout
A small ship that packs a punch, with two missile launchers and 8 small lasers, along with 8 point defense. Very weak in the back.
Dion Cruiser
A much older ship, It is not very powerful, And its reactors are not well protected (Older designs for Craltisen were not good, therefore he only made one type of ship.) Apart from this, it has one outstanding feature...
Dion Weapons Platform
(Just to clear things up, I built this first, then the frigate. I had to build the frigate using all the parts from this, but I ended up missing some... Also, this is my first ship I built for this faction!) This is what the frigate turns into! Whether on the ground, or on a ship, It acts as a turret to shoot ships down! Slightly more protected, with the same amount of firepower!
Dion Warship
See that weird section on the bottom left? My second biggest ship isn't even the size of that! This is my BIGGEST ship! I can't run it on my potato, but I can assure you, It has A LOT of firepower! Probably slow (Again, cannot test it.), They are meant for defense. (Fun fact (or two I guess) This is not my most expensive ship, and it was built during the Varangian Guard attack!)
Advanced
The Forbidden
The first ship of the series, The Forbidden is a ship that distracts crew by torching their ship, and if they have no fire extinguishers, well... lets say they are toast. Equipped with an additional impulse laser and two roof cannons, this is a ship that is crucial in any Dion fleet.
The Exiled
The bombardier of the ships, The Exiled has four 750-mm Mortars, 6 roof cannons, 2 sniper lasers, and 1 impulse laser. Good for taking out big and small ships, this ship is also crucial to any fleet.
