So, last days i worked on this chalenge,and i must say, its much more fun and mouch more harder you think.
I chose that i do not want to get any damage, so shielded ship, was my choice.
Firs. I m not good in designing small ships :S
Second- in 1.13.5 a lot of gameplay has changed ( i played BH last in 1.11)
Third,- there is lot of new(and stronger) ships in BH
So, i took my starter design:
, this was capable to beat that bloody Ion frigate with taking no damage, so i was confident and first ship i met was Pincer, WTF, ship 110K credits, with ion beam, and missile launcher , fast and well armored 😮
So i add PD:
and, first ship i met, was again Pincer, i was not carefull and get to close so PD had no time to shot missile and i ended again on first ship.
Third try i was more carefull, and after shoting dow Fang, i met that bloody pincer again, but that time it was easy, i was careful enough and shot it with almost no damage taken.
So, before first jum, i just improve to better manueverability(kiting).
and that time, i had a luck, firts ships i met was phalanx and then marauder, it was easy win, and i upgraded from seling ftl and money from them firepower and agility(2 big cannons some thrusters), next was Barbarosa, that was tough fight (second longest) and after B, i met skywing (longest fight ever in BH), again to much fast, ship with missiles, and ion beams to help crack defense against missiles it forced me to make design specialy against it , unfotunatelly there were not tu much money left, winning factor was second reactor leading to not lacking power for thrusters and pd., with that i managed do beat Skywing.
next jump,
and first ship i met was again skywing, but that time i did know whant kind of manuevers help to crack its defense without taking myself into danger. After that it was easy in that level.
Next jump:
Here it again begin not to be so easy, I tried to sneak from middle, to get to enemies back, but than it happen, one red dot start to folow me and when it get closer, i realize why, i had no sensor,
, but twincruiser has, i though i m doomed, but in reality it was really easy win ( i destroed that ion bems and than stayed from front and shot it down from inside (who made that badly protected control rooms? )) and it give me enough money to make really design buff.
Than only drakons sword managed to make (aprox 50K) damage to me.
Last jump and:
luck for me, no real oponent. But, after what i learned after first jump for tricks (turniong targetins on/of, allowing fire only when i wanted, wild bud milimeter precious manuevering) i was confident agains everything, and i had stil some resources to improve in case of need.
Some opponents make some damage to me ( once even 60K) but all fight were mor or les easy, and last ship in area i encounter was:
Yes, phalans light escort which provided me neccesary resources to survive after first jum 😃
And here is the real end, with fund. I think that next time i can make it better, but im glad i managed this chalenge 😃
So, i choose the way of fest and agile shipo capable to deal some damage to weak points.
Now with different weapons range, and that really wery strong design its maybe the only way, espacialy after first jump, almost everything outgun and outarmor your ship by several levels, and in beginning is alway cheaper to buy thrusters than weapons.
That advice of seling FTL and than buing just for jump help a lot in beginning, second importatn thing is that you always have to face one opponent at time, so i used to sneak from middle, and then attracted attention of one enemy, and kite from it long far enough to avoid fight for enough long time, when i was far away from others, than i started dogfiht in save area.
And what i get, trick i learned will make people who hate me in MP to hate me even more 😃
