The words pass to the poli-morphic (something like that) translator, but no pattern is found, as the ships continue to stand still, the captain, the first-officer and the senior staff debates aroud what to do:
Captain: Should we collect a drone for study?
F-O: Captain, this is not the M.O. of the collective, something must be wrong. Its logical to assume that our best move is to watch them, the Explorer Class dont hold much weaponary.
Chief engineer: Captain, if we could bring a drone aboard, we could do studys and maybe find whats wrong
Security chief: Captain i dont recommend risk the security of the ship to "study" a ship that can become hostile anytime, i sugest destroy them!.
F-O: We should not destroy peace because of our ship, the Collective can retaliate.
Security chief: What we shouldn't do is risk this ship and the planet beneath us!
F-O: The needs of the many outwheight the needs of the few, but the decision comes to the Captain.
All of them look at him.
Captain: Lets bring one on board but do any security mesure that you deem needed. Lets go!
