However not all agreed instead implying a last stand, while some even wanted to surrender. Without the emperor the commander separated his forces putting them under the command their highest ranking official. This was a grave mistake however because it was a situation all to familiar...

The Jp Empire was always a force to be reckoned with wheather it was small or big or poor or rich. Their planet forested and fair with resources, but with that came an abundance of enemies. From giant rat-like creatures to millions of diseases, only the strong survived. They soon advanced to space, with this ability they encounter more and more sentients, this helped to evolve their technology and their culture. However fear soon ruled supreme after enemies of the Empire experimented by rapidly evolving their planet's beasts into several sentient species. The Jp Empire immediately recognized the threat as a mortal enemy and promised to anialate them. However the creatures were docile and even incited peace, however the Jp Empire was not listening and instead declared war...
The creatures had made many allies during their existed and ultimately no one won...
After the separation of his forces the commander gives one last order to the fleets staying, the order was to focus their firepower on their homeworld...
They did so and the nuclear reactors at the core of the planet blew up, obliterating all fleets close to the planet. And so began their true Descent To Darkness...
