While life support is back, it seems the door locks still do not have power.

The crew see that their survival depends on either them or the galaxy, so they report to command thier situation and are told to destroy the reactor via a panel in the reactors.

On their way back to the reactor, the crew notice a swarm of parasites that fill the corridor, blocking their path.
The parasites are moving quickly toward the crew, apparently with hostile intent.

A Rift-space anomaly was detected somewhere in F.I.G. space. Long-range Scans indicated signatures similar to Explorer-Class Dimensional Collective ships, although they look... very different.

They seem to be damaged somehow, malfunctioning perhaps...

They are not too far from the infested space station. They seem to be headed towards an asteroid field... where one of the recon outposts are stationed.

EpicJp21 The anomalous fleet is moving at a slow but decent speed. All except for the malfunctioning Beacons, which aree straggling behind.

The beacons are getting somewhat closer to the F.I.G fleet as they follow the malfunctioning collective fleet.

As the scout goes into range, some of the shields of the beacon start to power up. The Scout is also hailed with a cryptic message:

RandomCommander The Y-Scout is ordered to defensively follow the beacon with caution, while the commander ponders on the message.

EpicJp21 The shields of the Beacon are now fully operational. It seems the damaged look was just for show.

Weapons have also powered up on the Beacon, but it does not fire. Instead it transmits another message to the scout:

Now the "!" mark is repeating, and three of the smaller ships - Light Scouts - have broken off from the main fleet on an intercept course to the Elite Y-Scout.

The Y-scout backs off, but the fighters kept their course. They got to the point where they were between the Y-scout and the Beacon... and then stopped. They were outside weapons range, so the Y-scout did not fire.

The Beacon is still repeating the "!" mark
