The Chaos side of Ixornvas has had enough, so in a minor tantrum it heats up the lock with magic. The Tripyramidal lock starts glowing a pinkish-yellow, than orange, and then a tiny chaos fire seems to emerge from the inside of the lock. Faraway beeping can be heard, and some sort of Android speaks, but it is too far away to tell what it is saying.
Then two drones can be seen turning from a corridor and heading towards the door Ixornvas is trying to get into - his human side instinctively forces control, and makes sure his presence gives off NO SIGNATURES, and is VISUALLY CAMOFLAUGED WITH THE WALL, right beside the door. The Drones go to the side Ixornvas is on - where the lock is also situated - and they seem to pay more attention to the lock than to Ixornvas... Good.
On closer inspection, one of the drones is a Triagonal Pyramid that seems like it could fit the Lock perfectly, but the other is an elipsoid saucer that is about twice as big as the Tripyramidal drone. A panel under the Saucer opens and exposes what looks like to be a weapon mount and a microprinter. The microprinter begins systematically replicating something resembling a chemical launcher that fits the weapon mount, and aims it inside the lock, firing a flaky and cloudy substance akin to a sort of Fire extinguisher - except something in that fire suppressant put Ixornvas on edge. The little burning fire was quickly snuffed out, at a rate where Ixornvas could figure out that there was Ma'at infused with the fire supressant!
The Saucer drone backs up and the "head" implement turns to the Triagonal drone. "RESTORE AND TEST LOCKING MECHANISM"
The Triagonal drone has some sort of hybrid optic device and emitter mechanism, Ixornvas sees that it covered the lock with some blue digital wave as it hovered near the locking mechanism - which seemed to evaporate the excess substance that was left over, and then it inserted itself into the lock. The Door then opened - and Ixornvas saw his opportunity, quickly modulating his camoflauge to simulate transparency as he ran past both drones and through the door.
The door closed behind him and Ixornvas heard the saucer drone talking behind it: "SLIGHT VISUAL DISTORTION DETECTED... ...REQUESTING QUERY OF PSIONIC INTEGRITY IN SECTOR FIVE HUB."
Ixornvas examined the new room he was in... it seemed more like a room with a seamless corridor around it - and Ixornvas was in the corridor, not the room. He can see inside the room, however not by much. There seems to be some sort of... abstract object floating around in the room, and the architecture of the room is ever-shifting, pillars rising and contracting into the floor, or ceiling, or wall, and sometimes even pivoting to meet with another pillar or column - it seems complex. The abstract shape could be loosely described as a sphere with six cubic pillars strutting out of either cardinal side of all three spatial planes. It rotates every now and then to a new alignment, which looks a lot similar to the previous alignment it was in, and as it did that some more columns and pillars shifted. It may very well be in control of its ever-changing landscape.
It is also giving off a Core signature, like it is an integral part of this "Sector." Somehow, Ixornvas feels like this is his target, to proceed in this multi-level labyrinth he found himself in, and be one step closer towards entering actual DC territory.
