Amazing_Goob ...I've got an idea, but it may force me to involve Drak in this... One moment.
ImTired ((There is no roll for this, in fact, there is no way to safely just "Enter" the 6th dimension without the means of Rift-space travel. The first time someone enters the 6th dimension without a means of riftspace travel will have a bumpy ride. Even ascended forms will have trouble if they don't have a direction - and the direction you chose is right into the Collective's Psionic defence network.))
Sokeyr expected there to be entities of various types here, but he could not see anything. In this ascended form, in this dimension, he doesn't feel a single thing. As he wonders why there are no people here, the same question is bellowed to him in his own voice - one of the first things he has heard since his arrival in the sixth dimension. The void could not be described as a void, rather a huddled mess of amorphous objects, alive or not alive, he could not yet tell what anything is. The psionic interference making the entity feel lighter and less in-control does not help, either...
Psionic interference? Who installed such a system here? Another loud echo of Sokeyr's own thoughts was shout back to him, but at the same time he could hear whispers of multiple, monotonous... Robotic voices. The Collective. It had to be the Collective. It was his drive, to find the Collective--
Sokeyr suddenly felt his presence being forcefully shifted, involuntarily moved towards a location he could not yet fathom, and then... resistance. The feeling of being out-of-control intensified, Sokeyr started thinking that he was not supposed to be here... But he was reminded of his conclusion he had recently come to. Collective... Collective... The more he thought of it, the further away from his self he felt.
((If you don't progress towards "beating" these psionic defenses, I have to roll for Sokeyr to resist being assimilated into the Collective (which is essentially death - this is why you don't just mosey on over to Collective territory when they are expecting an attack.)))
((And this is an anti-plot-armor device. Even if Prime or the Warlord himself gets caught in this, there is absolutely no Divine BS that can save them. They have to defeat the defenses somehow (Luckily for both Prime and - to some extent - the Warlord, they know how to beat such defenses). Choose your next move wisely.))
