mole people that like to ambush stuff. need I say more?
yes? ok.
story
long ago moles on earth dug around in dirt for a living. now in 2065 (or whatever this is) those same moles have evolved to build organic ships to mine and ambush using asteroids. they gather minerals from the ships and anything else they can dig their claws into to build the digger ships. the most feared among them is the brood mother's ships where thousands of new moles are born, ready to fight at a moments notice.
strategy
they mostly swarm and ambush the enemies from asteroids.
