dafeeeeeeeeeesh they're kinda OP and the game mechanics don't make sense, I mean the bombs come out sideways and they don't go under other ship parts like they're supposed to

the bombs are op but if you let bombs get that close to you you kinda deserve it bombs sideways is a bug so thats a good point and the third point yeah if they were supposed to go under ship parts it didint work

dafeeeeeeeeeesh I kinda stopped trying to fix the bombs, mostly because I was working on a far more requested part: cannons. I'll probably keep the bombs just for the memez tho

hmmmm maybe a point defense that counters the rail gun

( I made a ship with emps and railguns and it takes 5 of my beefy ships just to take it down. I take away the emps and it's still takes that much ships :I but still it's a great mod )

fightingchristian The way you want, with PD, isn't possible currently because PD can only shoot at "missiles"(projectiles that track). I can't make it attackable by PD without making it guided.

fightingchristian Also, if you don't want to become Swiss cheese, use Boron Nitride armor. It soaks up railgun slugs like a sponge.

....this sounds crazy but......
can there be a gun which "shoots" shields/chunks of armour at the enemy which is capable of absorbing and destroying enemy bullets mid-flight?

also the mac pen is way to op i mean boron nitride armor is good but at the end of the day if you make a capital ship with a large number of mac cannons say 15-20 can effectively destroy any ships vital areas even with 4 layers of boron nitride armor it will still cut you in half (plus in halo shields can block mac shells even if it does a lot of damage it can block a mac shell so IDK why the mac shells go though shields)

dafeeeeeeeeeesh The shells go through shields (and almost everything else) because they have a penetration power of one million (which might actually be way over the top (normal armor got a pen resistance of 7 for reference)). Just checked the railgun_slug.txt and the game files to ensure those didn't change.

i know it can go though shields and i know thats the reason why it just doesint fit with halo lore thats why i said IDK why it can go though shields in the lore

dafeeeeeeeeeesh The turret might be stripped of some aircraft carrier or some other place but halo...
(It was originally based on existing tech, if I remember correctly.)

i mean it looks like a halo MAC he says he likes halo and if it was based on existing tech it still shouldn't go though shields because railguns don't go though shields Either

dafeeeeeeeeeesh CursedPh4nt0m I know, I know... railguns need to be nerfed and all that crazy bullcrap. But, let me just say this:
Railguns were for the memez
(just like literally half of the CWP)
I might make a fork of the mod that contains actually balanced stuff, but for now, I'm doing a graphics update, so leave me alone.
