Just a notice. It appears the mirror functions in creation or building mode don't work as expected. With the new unconventional shaped parts the functions show their true workings. I understand this is a troublesome case for how to save the transformation.
Yup, parts can't be mirrored, they can only be rotated. This would be a lot of work to fix.
Walt Instead of fixing the overall part handling simply introduce a mirror command for use in the parts definition files. This way all bitmaps can be reused in a new mirrored part. So instead of having to dublicate everything only the definition file is duplicated. Edit: I guess it's two commands for horizontal and vertical or one with an extra attribute.

I've put it in my list to add sprite mirroring to the next version. Shouldn't be hard to do.
